Training and development – not usually very exciting words – except when K. Solomon Masala gets involved. Tapping 25 years of expertise with an engaging magnetism, Solomon delivers the antidote to ‘training as usual.’ He uses an innovative blend of kinesthetic, captivating processes designed to get people inspired for learning, and sustaining that learning for the long run.
As a seasoned corporate trainer and human development facilitator for over 25 years, a former classroom teacher and school administrator, he strikes the beautiful balance of deeply meaningful content with experiential process. You’ll never just sit when he’s presenting: people get up and ‘do’ what’s being learned so the information sticks. You never know what relevant, experiential adventure awaits, and there’s always a promise of some fun!
Solomon uses invigoration and vitality as core learning tools. Add that to the science on what works and you get instantly useful and memorable sessions. Solomon imbues everything he does with this energy: leadership development, educator training, conflict resolution, coaching, classroom teaching, interactive keynotes, organizational development processes, youth programming, outdoor adventure experiences, and large scale percussion programs.
For fun, you’ll find Solomon in the great outdoors or with a drum in his hands. He’s a Kennedy Center teaching artist, the first X8 Drums endorsed rhythm program facilitator, a Meinl Viva Rhythms Facilitator, and producer/director of the powerful Interactive Theatrical Experience: Za Boom Ba! He’s the published author of two international classic rhythm education books, “Rhythm Play!™ and 1, 2, Let’s All Groove,” and as a recording artist, has released three albums. Solomon is also the designer and inventor of the Twister Drum, the world’s only truly ‘collapsible’ and compact-able djembe drum.
