Session 1: Core Concepts

Participants will explore the 6 core concepts of culturally responsive formative assessment and compare their current practice to determine next steps.

Session 2: Cultivate Learning Partnerships with Core Habits of Learning

Participants will learn how to strengthen learning partnerships, a key aspect of formative assessment, through the AISJ portrait of a learner. Educators will learn concrete formative assessment practices to cultivate dispositional learning through a cultural lens.

Session 3: Build a Culture of Critical Friends through Asset-Based Peer Assessment

Participants will learn practical strategies to refine current peer assessment practices through an asset-based cultural lens.

 

Session 1a - Leading Impact Teams: Cultivating an Inquiry Mindset
