Many educators are uncomfortable discussing race and unprepared to facilitate racial equity work. Join us to develop racial literacy, the knowledge, skills, and awareness needed to analyze and discuss race thoughtfully.
Let’s create a brave space to talk about racial equity in education, leader to leader. Facilitated by Dr. Michael De Sousa, these summer sessions are designed for you to learn, share, and explore how understanding identity and race impacts our ability to lead. These interactive virtual workshops will equip us to be more intentional and impactful community leaders.
Attend a complimentary event on June 22nd, and together we will:
- Connect with other equity-minded educators
- Analyze how race influences and shapes our leadership in the classroom and schools
- Identify the factors that contribute to racial literacy
- Take action to become stronger equity-centered educators
The June 22 session is a sneak preview of what you can expect this fall at Dr. Michael De Sousa’s Talking About Race cohort on the second Tuesday of September – February from 4:30-5:30 PM Pacific. Click here for a course description and to enroll in Talking About Race.
