Bryce Alber (he/they) lives in Portland, OR. They are a Co-founder of QAF and the lead music composer for the documentary series. As a musician Bryce finds purpose in helping uplift and share the stories and lives of queer artists from all backgrounds by writing and recording music with the intent to celebrate their lives. As someone who is still very much finding ways to reconcile, express and accept the many different facets of their personal, interpersonal, and overarching social identities Bryce, is committed to being someone that shows up for people who need to be reminded of their inherent worth and their right to exist just as they are. Everyone needs a nourishing and encouraging environment to grow and this is one reason why Bryce is committed to Co-facilitating screenings and events through QAF. Bryce understands that students, educators, and parents all have unique needs and that the relationships between them are worth nurturing— everyone deserves to feel fundamental to the fabric of their school communities.
