Taking the Time to Determine and Analyze Our Impact

Every summer at The Core Collaborative, we triangulate evidence to determine the impact of our efforts. Our “mind fuel” comes from applying Evidence-Analysis-Action (E-A-A) in which we acknowledge our successes, identify our struggles, and analyze both so we can [continue reading].

 

Collective efficacy” means a group’s shared beliefs about the collective capability to promote successful student outcomes (Goddard et al., 2000). Collective efficacy involves more than positive thinking” (Bloomberg & Pitchford, 2023).

CAROL CRONK

Dr. Carol Cronk’s dedication to mathematics is evident in her extensive experience in leadership, education, and professional learning, including her roles as Mathematics Common Core and Intervention Coordinator and Director of STEM. Currently, she teaches mathematics for educators at a California University, co-directs the Inland Counties Mathematics Project, consults with The Core Collaborative, and serves as the Coordinator of Research, Assessment & Evaluation for Victor Valley Union High School District.

LORI HAMEL

Lori Hamel, born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, boasts 25 years of classroom experience across various subjects, including secondary ELA, newswriting, and drama, along with serving as department chair. In all of her work, she demonstrates a passion for finding innovative ways to collaboratively solve puzzles, enhancing student agency, and promoting equity.

DISABILITY PRIDE MONTH

Disability Pride Month is a time to honor and celebrate the lives, stories, and contributions of people with disabilities. Sharing books written by authors with disabilities is an excellent way to foster empathy, understanding, and appreciation among students.

 

 

 

WORLD POPULATION DAY

Honoring World Population Day is a global observance that highlights pressing issues related to population growth and its impacts on development, health, and the environment. Celebrated annually on July 11th, this day aims to raise awareness and drive action on critical matters such as gender equality, maternal health, family planning, and sustainable development.
