Benjie Howard is an author, poet, touring musician, educator, wilderness guide and consultant. He is the Founder of New Wilderness Project, a wilderness based youth education program focused on stewardship for natural and cultural communities, partnered in North Cascades and Grand Canyon National Parks, Middle Fork of the Salmon River, Idaho. He is the Co-founder, Youth Equity Stewardship, a nationally recognized intergenerational education program focussed on growing partnerships for equity, inclusion, and stewardship in schools. He is a managing Equity Stewardship Consultant with The Core Collaborative.
